The first thing which is important for any job is your resume. Make an interesting resume and impress your interviewer.  
Here are some tips on improving your resume which will help you in getting a suitable job:

Short sentences are always effective:

Resume writing works on the principle of short and crisp sentences. Generally, long sentences distract employers. Aspirants should try to write in points or boxes. But there are certain things which are not possible to writes in boxes for these short paragraphs should be used. Aspirants should take great care of grammar and spelling mistakes. Spelling mistakes creates a very negative impact in employer’s mind.  

Using simple English is advisable:

Generally, people are of view that difficult and new words create a good reputation in employer’s mind. But these are not true and just a myth. Simple and short sentences always attract interviewer. As simple English sum all points in a simple manner. So it becomes easy for the employers to grab everything about the candidate at once. And thus improve his chance of selection. 

Write everything in points:

The most important tip for making a resume effective is to write everything in points. Use more bullets and other symbols to make your resume effective and attractive. 

Never write sentences in first person form:

While writing resume avoid using first person form. Avoid using words like ‘I’ in a resume. 

Order your resume in proper sequence:

Sequencing your resume in correct form is a very important point to be kept in mind while writing your resume. In resume it is suggested to write the general information first and then go for the specific information about the candidates. 

Additional writing tips:

·           Always save your resume file in doc, docx or pdf format only;

·           Before saving file, check its formatting;

·           Use same font in whole resume;

·           Underline or highlight important points; and

·           Always write your contact number at the end.
