Kannur University Admission Form 2013-14

The university invites application for the M.Phil (Computer Science). It’s a public university and its chancellor is Nikhil Kumar. It has many affiliated college. Some of its affiliated colleges are Government. College, Vidya Nagar, E. K. Nayanar Memorial Govt. College, K. M. M Govt. Women’s College etc. 

Course:

The Kannur university invites application for the M.Phil course (Computer Science) for the year 2013. 

Educational Qualification:

Individuals should at least possess master’s degree in computer Science or Information Technology of Kannur University or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate. 

Relaxation in marks will be provided to reserved category candidates (OBC, teacher and SC/ST) as per Kannur university rules and regulation. 

Specialization Subject: Aspirants can have any of the given below subject as his specialization:

Number of Seats:

Application is invited for total six seats. 

Number of seats reserved for the SC/ST/OBC will be decided as per university norms 

Selection Mechanism:

 

Aspirants will be selected on the basis of qualifying test and Entrance test. 40% weight age will be given to qualifying test and 60% will be given to entrance test. 

 

Entrance test will be of two hours containing multiple choc questions. 

Course Duration:

Total duration of the course is 1 year. Total two semesters will be there.
