(Main) and JEE-(Advanced).
Top 150,000 aspirants who will qualify the JEE
(main) will be eligible for JEE (Advanced). Additional details regarding
eligibility, date of examination and pattern are given below:
Examination:
Joint Entrance Examination
Educational Qualification: Minimum educational
qualification for the post is:
I. Candidates should at least be intermediate
(10+2) passed from a recognized/reputed board or university.
II. Candidates who are appearing for class 12th
examination may also appear for JEE examination.
III. However candidates have to produce result
immediately on its declaration.
Other Educational Qualification:
1. Students who are in Final examination (2
years course) of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA (National Defense
Academy).
2. Students who are in 2 year Pre University
Examination conducted by a reputed university may also apply.
3. Examination of HSC Vocation
Examination Pattern:
The written examination paper will be in 2
parts:
1st paper will focus on Physics,
Chemistry & Mathematics
And 2nd paper is further divided
in to three sections:
A. Section I -Mathematics
B. Section II -Aptitude Test
C. Section III- Drawing Test
The paper will be objective type. Total 3
hours will be provided for each paper.
JEE (Advance) Examination Pattern:
The syllabus for JEE Advance is same as that
of JEE main. It will be of 180 minutes.
Maximum number of Attempts:
Candidates can appear maximum for three times
for JEE examination.
Negative Marking:
There will be negative marking in the paper.
For each wrong answer ¼ of the marks will be deducted.
Students are advised to take great care while
answering answers.
For unattempted answer there will be no
negative marking.
Examination Date:
Offline examination is scheduled on April7,
2013
Online
examination is scheduled on April8, 2013 to April 30, 2013.
Medium of Paper:
JEE provides paper in English or Hindi
language. Applicants have to mention the desired language at the time of
filling form.
