Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank Recruitment 2015 Details of Eligibility, Selection & Application Process

The Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank has officially notified for the recruitment of the SO (Specialist Officer) posts through the IBPS CWE (Common Written Exam) II conducted for the RRBs (Regional Rural Banks) scheduled to be held in the September/ October 2013 for all the eligible applicants. The candidates who qualify in the concerned posts as per the eligibility and qualifying marks can apply online in the manner as prescribed here below.

The applicants are invited against 141 posts in the Specialist Officer posts which includes both Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi Purpose) respectively. The candidates should apply online before 10th June 2014 for the offered job positions.

1. Officer Scale I: 36 (SC: 8; ST: 2; OBC: 25; General: 01)

2. Office Assistant (Multi Purpose): 105 (SC: 13; ST: 23; OBC: 52; General: 17)

Pay Scale:

1. Officer Scale I: Rs 14500- 25700

2. Office Assistant: Rs 7200- 19300

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicants should have qualified the IBPS CWE II held in September/ October 2013. The applicants should have passed graduation / post graduation in any discipline for the post of Officer Scale I whereas the applicants for the Office Assistant (Multi Purpose) should be having degrees in any the following disciplines: Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Sciences/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Management/ Law/ Economics/ Accountancy/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Engineering /Forestry etc or anything equivalent thereto from any recognized colleges/ universities of India for this purpose.

Age Bar:

The applicants should be having their minimum ages not less than 18 years while the maximum ages not exceeding 28 years brought into effect from 1st July 2013. The candidates will be provided relaxation in ages as per the rules of the government framed for this purpose.

Manner of Selection:

The selections of the applicants shall be done on the basis of their performances in the Common Written Examination as conducted by the Indian Banking Personnel Selection and the Personal Interviews as conducted by the Bank concerned for this purpose.    

The candidates should have qualified in the IBPS CWE II as per the cut off marks decided for this purpose. The cut off marks decided for the Officer Scale I is 98 & above (for UR Candidates) and 88 & above (for Reserved Candidates) while the cut off marks for the Office Assistant (Multi Purpose) will be 95 & above (for UR Candidates) and 88 & above (for Reserved Candidates) respectively. 

Application Criteria:

Online applications can be submitted at the website bggb.in under the Career Section of the concerned website. The applicants should pay Rs100 (Rs20 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS) as the application fee from any branch of the Bank of Baroda before the dates as specified for this purpose.
