Writing Tips for Written Examinations

Writing in examination paper is an art. By following some important step one can easily attract examiners and grab better marks. 

So here are some important tips for written examinations:

Good Handwriting:

A good handwriting always attracts examiners attention and helps in getting better marks. Hand writing plays a very important role in developing examiner’s mood. Therefore one should work on his/her handwriting. Due to technology advancement, we are not in writing practice. Therefore during exams when we write it leads to bad handwriting. Therefore, one must practice daily to improve his/her writing skill. 

Highlight headings or important Points:

Highlighting important points always helps in getting good marks. Examiner has to check so many lengthy papers. So, he may ignore some of the important points. If you underline all important points in the paper that may help you in getting better marks. 

Avoid spelling Mistakes:

Many of us have good writing skill but don’t have good catch on spellings of words.  Spelling mistakes creates a very negative impact on examiners mind. Therefore one must work on his spellings also. 

Small paragraphs are Appreciated:

Examiners find it tedious to read and check big long paragraphs. He may even ignore long paragraphs. That is why it is advisable to write in small paragraphs. 

Write in Points:

Candidates should try writing in points. Writing in points will give a better picture of the candidate’s answers in the examiners mind. This will again create a positive impact and thus better marks. 

Appropriate speed is the key to Success:

Written papers don’t only check your knowledge but also your writing speed. If one is good in knowledge but not good in writing speed then success becomes very difficult for him. Therefore one must work on his/her speed also. So that he can efficiently write his knowledge on papers.
