Designation:
Staff Selection Commission invites
application for the post of Constables.
Eligibility: Minimum educational
qualification for the post is:
Interested aspirant should be passed at least
high school (Class 10th).
Physical Eligibility: Interested candidates must
fulfill the following physical eligibility standards:
Minimum height for male candidates – 170 cms
Minimum height for female candidates- 157
cms
Weight of the candidates should be
proportionate according to their height. For determining the proportionate
weight standard, medical standard chart will be followed.
Minimum chest expansion for males is 80
cm.
Application Fees:
Aspirants who are filling form in offline
mode are required to send the application form along with demand draft of
Rs 50/-. However application fees for the women, candidates belong to schedule
caste, schedule tribes and other backward classes are completely exempted from
the application fees.
Closing Dates:
For Online Mode: Candidates are required to
submit the application form before 9th January 2013 for 1st
Paper and 11th January 2013 for 2nd Paper.
For Offline Mode: candidates are required to
post application form before 11th January 2013.
Closing date for candidates who are from
backward areas is 18th January 2013.
Applying Procedure:
Candidates can apply both in online and
offline mode.
For applying online mode, candidates are
required to visit official website of SSC and fill all the details. Candidates
can make payment through online mode.
Candidates who are filling form in offline
mode are required to send the complete application form to the below given
address before 11th January 2013.
Examination Date:
Entrance examination is scheduled on 12th
May 2013.
Result Date:
The result of entrance examination will be
declared on 30th September 2013.
