Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the administrative control of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India is an autonomous body established with a view to provide good quality education to talented children predominantly from rural areas without considering their socio-economic surrounding.
Applications are invited from Indian citizen for filling up the posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) & Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Jawahar Naovodaya Vidyalayas located in various districts in different states of India.

Basic Qualification –
For Post Graduate Teachers: Post Graduate Degree from recognized University with min. 50% marks in the respective subject. B.Ed and experience in teaching is must to apply.
For Trained Graduate Teachers: B.Ed. with Bachelors’s degree from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in relevant subject.
Scale of Payment – Rs.9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay
Age as on 31st Jan – Maximum age permissible for the candidates is 40 yrs for PGT and 35 yrs for TGT. Age relaxation to reserved communities are provided as follows:

Selection Manner – Short listing of application will be done on the basis of combined performance in written exam followed by interview. Written examination will be conducted in selected cities which are listed below:

Fee Submission – Candidates applying for the post must deposit non-refundable application fee through challan paid in cash at nearest bank branch an amount of Rs.500/- plus Rs.40/- as bank charges. Candidates belonging to reserved categories do not require to pay fee.

Download NVS Admit Card –
Admit card will be issued to candidates at least 10 days prior to start of written test. Candidates would get Admit Card at their personal email-id. Candidates would be able to know the date of examination, examination centre along with complete address and photograph.

Age Criteria:
Individuals who are between 18 to 35 years of age are eligible to apply for the post of Catering Assistant in NVS.
And Individuals who are between 18 to 30 years of age are eligible to apply for the post of Lab Attendant in NVS. The date which will be considered for judging the age limit will be 30 June 2013.
Eligibility:
Personal should at least be matriculation passed from a renowned university or board and also have diploma degree in catering are eligible for the post of Catering Assistant and class 8th with General Science for the Post of Lab Attendant.
Some are other qualification jobs
Method of Selecting Candidates:
For the post of Catering Assistant, personal will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and personal interview.
For the post of Lab Attendant, individuals will be selected on the basis of their performance in trade test.
Application Procedure:
Personals should send the application form to the NVS office within 30 days from notification of vacancy. Personal can download the form from the website of NVS and attach all the relevant documents. The documents required to be attached with the form are Bank demand draft (DD), date of birth certificate, caste certificate, educational, mark sheets of last school passed, experience certificate (if any) and recent passport size photographs.
Application Fees:
Application fees for the post of Catering Assistant is Rs 500/- and for the post of Lab Attendant is Rs 250/-. No application fees are charged from Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribes or PH (Physically Handicapped) or female applicants. DD should be drawn in favour of Deputy Commissioner, NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti), payable at Bhopal (India).
Ending Dates:
The ending date for the submission of application form to the NVS office is 30 days within the notification of vacancy.
Notification of vacancy was between 6 July 2013 to 12 July 2013.
