CAT Examination 2013-14
The Indian Institute of Management invites
application for the Common Admission Test examination for the year 2013. Read

examination every year. This test is combined test for all the MBA entrance
examinations.

Examination:

Eligibility: Minimum eligibility for Common
Admission Test examination is:
Candidate should at least be a graduate worth
minimum 50% marks in it.
New Examination Centers:
CAT examination is conducted all over India.
From this year four new centers have been added to centers list. These new
centers are:
1. Surat
2. Udaipur
3. Trivendrum
4. Vijaywada

Applying Procedure:
Interested candidates can go to the official
website and fill the application form. Aspirants are requested to submit the
same along with relevant documents before 28 September 2013.
Important Date
Closing Dates:
CAT
vouchers available from August 17, 2013 to September 26, 2013. Cat
vouchers will be available at Axis branch of your city.
Students can get themselves registered for
CAT from August 17, 2013 but not after September 28, 2013.
Examination Date:
Common Admission Test examination is
scheduled from 22 October 2013 to 28 November 2013.
Examination Pattern:
Common Admission Test examination paper will
consist of two parts. The first part will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data
Interpretation and the second part will contain question related to Verbal
Ability & Logical Reasoning. The total duration for examination is 40
minutes. Candidates will have to answer 30 questions in 70 minutes. Examination
will be conducted in online mode only. On-screen countdown timer will be set
for each section. Once the countdown timer set is over then the candidates will
be asked to move to the next section.
Before the examination a tutorial will be
provided to students to understand the method of answering questions in online
mode.
