The original name of this force was 'Watch
and Ward'. It functions under the administration of Indian railways.

Eligibility:
Aspirants should be high school passed from a
recognized or well known board with required experience.
Who will be selected?
Aspirants who will clear both the written
examination and trade test will be selected. The selection of candidates will
be entirely on the basis of above mentioned tests.
Application Fees:
Application money is Rs 50/-. No fees are
charged from reserved category aspirants. However candidate is required to
submit the caste certificate as a proof of caste.
Candidate should submit the money in demand
draft favoring FA & CAO (Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer),
Central Railway, payable at Mumbai
Process of Applying:
RPF requires candidate to submit the
application form before 26 June 2013. Candidates can download the
application form from the website of RPF. Candidates should send the
application form along with all the relevant documents like pass port size
photograph, mark sheets etc.
Age Bound:
RPF requires aspirants to be not more than 27
years of age. Minimum age is 18 years. Candidates should know that age
relaxation will be provided according to institutes set age regulations.

Candidates should send the application form
along with the fees to the organization address within 30 days from the
notification of the vacancy.
Aspirants who are living in far back ward
areas are required to submit the application form along with the fees to the
organization address within 37 days from the notification of the vacancy.
