Name of the Designation
– Navik (General Duty)
Unmarried Indian male
citizen, who have interest in Indian Armed Force and possess basic eligibility
criteria are invited to join in the Indian Coast Guard for the Post of navik
(general Duty).
Academic Necessity – Students who have secured 60% marks or more
in the subject of Mathematics & Physics in the 10+2 exam conducted by
recognized Board/Institute are eligible to apply. 5% relaxation will be
allowable to SC/St candidates.
Age Restriction – Candidates must be in the age group in
between 18 to 22 years i.e., the candidate should be born not before 01.08.1993
or not after 31.07.1997. Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as
per rules of the Govt.
Selection Manner – Candidates meeting the above qualification
will have to go through the following selection criteria:
(a) Shortlisting
of applications on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the respective
examination,
(b) Objective
type Written Test,
(c) Physical
Efficiency Test,
(d) Medical
Examination.
