Nationality:

The candidate should be of Indian origin or candidates who are subject of Nepal/Bhutan (of Indian origin) from Pakistan may also apply.

Age limit Criteria:

Interested candidate should not be less than 18 years but he should also not more than 22 years of age. 

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should at least have passed intermediate (XII) or equivalent examination or higher exam from a recognized/Reputed Board or University.
 
Applying Procedure:

Candidates can download the application form from the official website of SSC. Aspirants who want to make payment in offline mode are required to download Challan from the website. Aspirants can also make payment in online mode 

Application Fees:

Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Physically Handicapped or Ex-serviceman or Women are completely exempted from paying the application fees.

Other aspirants are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fees.

Examination Date:

The examination is scheduled from 10 November 2013 to 17 November 2013.

Examination Pattern:

The paper will be in objective type. Paper is divided in to four parts:

A. The first part contains question related to general knowledge.

B. The second part contains question related to English.

C. The third part contains question related to mathematics 

D. The fourth part contains question related to Current Affairs 

E. For each wrong answer there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Age Limit Criteria:

Interested candidates should posses a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized/reputed university. 

Procedure of Selection:

Aspirants selection will be done on the basis of written examination, interview and group discussion. 
 
Applying Procedure:

Aspirants can download the form from the website of SBI. For payment of application fees, aspirants are requested to download the payment voucher from the website and make payment through online or offline mode.

Examination Date:

Examination is scheduled on 28 April 2013. 
 
Pattern of Examination:

The written examination paper is divided into 4 parts:

1. English language 

2. General awareness, 

3. Marketing and computers 

4. Data analysis and interpretation Reasoning 

Each section will carry 50 marks. The duration for the examination will be two hours. Total marks of examination will be 200. 

For passing the examination, the aspirants have to achieve at least passing marks in each subject.

Group discussion:

After clearing written examination the aspirants will be called for group discussion. It will carry 20 marks.

Interview:

The candidates who have passed both the written and group discussion will be called for interview for final selection. It will carry 30 marks.

GATE Examination 2013-14

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

Eligibility:

A. Interested applicants who possess Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Architecture may also apply. 

B. Desired students who are appearing in final year of above mentioned course may also apply. 

C. Candidates who possess Master's degree in any branch like Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Applications or any equivalent degree/ course. 

D. Desired entrants who are in final year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme may also apply for the course. 

E. It must be noted here that candidates who hold diploma in engineering area not eligible for the examination. 
  
Application Fees for GATE Examination:

Eligible aspirants are required to fill the fees along with application form. Details of the application fees are given below:

General category candidates are required to pay Rs 1200 along with the examination form. 

Candidates who belong to SC/ST/PD category are required to pay Rs 600 along with the examination form. 

Examination fees for the women candidates are completely exempted.

Applying Procedure:

Interested applicants can download the application form from the official website of GATE. Aspirants who choose to make payment through offline mode are required to take print out copy of Challan generated from the website and submit the same to the local branch of SBI or Canara Bank. 

Candidates can make payment through online net baking also. 
 
Examination Pattern:

1. GATE written examination is in objective type patterns. It contains questions of total 100 marks. There will be 65 questions in the examination paper. 

2. The written examination will be Online for candidates of Chemical Engineering & Civil Engineering branches.

3. Whereas the written examination will be Offline for candidates of Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science & IT and Mechanical Engineering branches.

4. Paper of general knowledge will be same for all the branches. 
 
Negative Marking:

There will be negative marking. For one wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted from questions carrying one marks whereas 2/3 marks will be deducted from question carrying two marks.

UGC NET Exam 2015-16 Application Form Result 2015 Entrance Date


UGC NET Examination 2013-14

University Grant Commission conducts National Eligibility Test for recruiting candidates to various government universities. Read more at ibpsclerkrecruitmentinfo.com . Aspirants apply in it for getting job in Government University or for applying for PHD. 
 
For humanities and stream, University Grant Commission individually conducts the examination but for engineering and science it conducts examination in tie up with CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research).

Examination:

National Eligibility Test

Education Qualification:

I. Candidates who have secured at least 55% in Post graduate level from a recognized university will be eligible for the examination. 

II. The minimum percentage of marks required by Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe /Persons with disability category and other category is 50%. 

III. Aspirants who are appearing for the final examination of post graduation are also eligible for the test.
Aspirants who are holding degree in PHD and whose post graduation is completed before september19, 1991 are also eligible for the exam. A relaxation of 5% in marks is provided to them. 

Age Limit Criteria:

A. Candidates who are applying for Junior Research Fellowship examination should not be more than 28 years of age. 

B. 5 year of age relaxation is provided to candidates who belong to SC/ST/ PWD/OBC.

C. Aspirants who are applying for lectureship – there is no maximum limit criteria for aspirants who are applying for lectureship. 

Examination Date:

The national eligibility test is scheduled on June 30, 2013

Examination Pattern:

The written examination paper will consist of 3 Papers. 

1st Paper will be of 100 marks which will consist of total 60 questions. 

2nd Paper will be of 100 marks which will consist of total 50 questions. 

3rd Paper will be of 150 marks which will consist of total 75 questions. 
 
Syllabus: 
 
 1st Paper will focus on teaching and reasoning ability of aspirants. It will contain 60 questions, out of which 50 are compulsory to attempt.

2nd Paper will focus on subject selected by candidates. It will contain 50 questions, 2 marks of each.

3rd Paper will focus on subject selected by candidates. It will contain 75 questions, 2 marks of each.
           
Applying Procedure:

Students can apply only in online mode. For filing application form aspirants are required to visit official website of UGC and fill the required details. Aspirants who want to pay in offline mode should follow the following procedure:

1. A copy of challan will be generated while filing the online admission form. Candidate should take print out copy in SBI branch and submit the required cash in bank. 

2. Candidate should bring the passport copy of their photo to the examination hall along with the print out copy of application form.

Closing date for submitting application form is 03-05-2013.
