Directorate General Border Security Force-BSF under Ministry of Home Affairs has released an advertisement to occupy the various posts of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic-Assistant Sub Inspector in BSF Air Wing for the year 2014-15.

Maximum Age: Maximum age for this post is 28 yrs for applying candidates.  

Academic Qualification: Candidates having Diploma in the concerned trade or Group ‘X’ Diploma provided by IAF with aviation experience is required.

Criteria of Selection: Selection process will be based on 2 stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination- It will be of 100 marks. It will include the topics such as General Awareness, General English, Numerical Aptitude & Technical Subject.

Stage 2: It will have Document Verification, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test,  Interview & Medical Examination.

Fee Structure: General/OBC candidates will have deposit Rs.50/- as Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Commandant 25 BN BSF, payable at SBI – ADB Najafgarh, Code No 001419. There is no fee submission for Female/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Application Method: Complete application with affixed photograph on the application form as well as admit card & self attested copies of all the necessary certificates, 2 self addressed envelopes of size 25 x 12 cms with postal stamp of Rs 39/-.

The envelope containing all the enclosures must be entitled as “Application for direct recruitment of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) in BSF Air Wing 2014-15″ & should be sent to address mentioned below:

Applications are invited for total 28 seats. for knowing about the post wise seat vacancy refer to the official website or official advertisement of BSF

Age Criteria for different post: 

Aspirants should be between 22 to 28 years of age for SI (Staff Nurse), ASI (Pharmacist) posts.

For the SI (Staff Nurse) post is from 21 to 30 years. 

For ASI (Pharmacist) posts is form 18 to 25

The current valid age of applicants will be considered as on date of receiving the application form. 

Remuneration Offered- 

The applicants selected will be getting Rs.9,300 to 34,800 + G.P. Rs.4,200/- Per Month for SI Post.

Selected candidates will be getting Rs.5,200-20,200 with Grand Pay Rs.2,800/- P.M. for ASI Post.

Aspirant should be Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized Institute.



Application Fee: 

Application fees are Rs 50 only. However it is completely exempted for all women candidates.
